About Our Client

Job Description

3. Prepare and manage financial records related to property transactions.
4. Assist with client account reconciliations and ensure accuracy in reporting.
5. Process invoices and payments in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
7. Handle queries from clients and tenants, providing clear and professional responses.
8. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the property portfolio.
9. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
10. Collaborate with the wider accounting and finance team to streamline processes.
11. Managing and maintaining service charge accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with RICS regulations
12. Prepare and review service charge budgets
13. Producing client statements and any additional reports required
14. VAT reporting
15. Collaborate with property management team to resolve accounts queries
16. Liaise with external accountants on production of year end accounts where necessary
17. Assisting with the company accounts

The Successful Applicant

A successful Property Accounts Assistant should have:

18. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
19. Experience working within the property industry or a related field.
20. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
21. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
22. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
23. Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
24. Studying towards or have completed AAT qualification
