Permanent, full-time role: 5 days per week, Monday to Friday

About the role
As a Rigger you will set up rigging equipment, operate heavy machinery to erect and install structures, and dismantle rigging after the job. You will attend site surveys and climb down inspections, support site work and installation of steelwork, and complete tasks agreed by the business with our clients regarding the building and maintenance of steel structures.
You will communicate with the rigging team leader and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. The role requires regular travel and stay‑aways.
Main duties and responsibilities
 * Inspect and prepare loads that need to be moved
 * Set up and level heavy equipment machinery
 * Prepare rigging equipment including beans, pulleys, clamps and bolts
 * Inspect rigging before final use
 * Monitor and maintain rigging equipment
 * Perform general duties associated with climbing and working at height on antenna mast and tower support structures
 * Install feeder support systems and TX link supports
 * Manoeuvre loads using heavy equipment machinery by hand
 * Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures
 * Communicate with the rigging team
 * Break down rigging equipment and conduct post rigging inspections
About you
 * Working at Height certification
 * Certifications in IPAF/First Aid at Height/Site Access Systems/Slinger Signaller desirable
 * Experience working in the telecommunications industry
 * In‑depth knowledge of rigging equipment and heavy machinery
 * Reading, understanding and writing RAMS, SSOW and SOW
 * Able to climb and work safely at height
 * Basic medical and fitness requirement (examination required)
 * Good communication and team building skills
 * Good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
 * Problem‑solving skills
 * Ability to work at heights and noisy environments
 * Valid full UK driving licence
