Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Salary:
£90 - £120 per day (Dependent on Experience)
Job Duties:
Supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in the classroom
Assisting the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for SEND students
Providing one-to-one support to help students with their learning and development
Helping to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
Required Qualifications:
Experience working with children or young adults with SEND
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection policies
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
Experience working in a school or educational setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Patience, empathy, and understanding towards students with SEND
Preferred Qualifications:
Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
Training in specific interventions for supporting SEND students
Working Conditions:
Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Working in a classroom setting with students with SEND
Potential for additional training and professional development opportunities
Collaborating with teachers, parents, and outside agencies to support students

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
