Role Responsibilities As an Art Technician, your responsibilities will include: Preparing materials, equipment, and resources for practical lessons across all key stages. Supporting teachers and students during lessons, offering guidance on safe and effective use of materials and tools. Maintaining and organising Art resources, including storage of materials, equipment, and displays. Assisting with the setup and installation of student work for exhibitions and events. Ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines, including safe handling of paints, chemicals, and tools. Monitoring stock levels and placing orders as required to maintain a fully resourced department. Supporting departmental projects, workshops, and creative initiatives. Candidate Requirements Experience working with Art materials and techniques, ideally in a school or creative environment. Organised, proactive, and reliable with strong attention to detail. Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to practical Art lessons. Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with staff and students.
