About the Role
Join the dynamic Employment Team as a dedicated Employment Advisor. You will support individuals one‑to‑one on their journey into work, develop personal action plans, build skills, and drive positive outcomes in a fast‑paced, community‑focused environment.
Job Purpose
As a member of the Employment Team, you will engage on a 1:1 basis with programme participants, establishing and maintaining strong relationships to understand and meet their individual needs. You will develop personal action plans that enable participants to move toward and into sustainable employment. You will work within a friendly, busy team to ensure programme performance targets are met in accordance with contract requirements.
In this role you will collaborate closely with the local community and employers, support referrals onto the programme, and identify employment opportunities. You will help participants develop valuable work‑based skills and gain knowledge, providing support and understanding as challenges arise.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one‑to‑one support to participants throughout their employment journey.
* Develop and implement personalised action plans to facilitate sustainable employment.
* Maintain excellent relationships with participants, local community, and employers.
* Support referrals and identify appropriate employment opportunities.
* Ensure programme performance targets are consistently achieved.
* Communicate effectively with participants across diverse backgrounds.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in employment support or a related field is desirable.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to adapt approaches to meet the individual needs of participants.
* Confidence in engaging and motivating people from diverse backgrounds.
* A commitment to safeguarding and welfare of all participants.
