Area Sales Manager – Heavy Line Plant (New Territory) Package: Competitive + Company Car/Allowance + Commission + Benefits Location: Essex / East Anglia (field-based) Industry: Construction Plant / Heavy Equipment / New Plant Sales The Business Our client is a well-established plant business supplying heavy line equipment, backed by strong internal support and training. They’re expanding their footprint across Essex and East Anglia and are now looking to bring in an Area Sales Manager to build out this territory. The Role This is a brand-new position and a genuine “blank canvas” opportunity. The focus is heavily business development led to start with – canvassing, site visits, opening doors and building relationships across the patch. You’ll be responsible for selling heavy line equipment including 14T+ excavators and a full range of wheel loaders (new plant), managing the full sales process and developing a healthy pipeline within the territory. Salesforce is used for opportunity tracking, supported by admin/internal teams and product training when required. Key Responsibilities: Build and develop a new customer base across Essex and East Anglia through proactive business development.
