Trade Counter Assistant
We are seeking an experienced Trade Counter Assistant to support our nationwide mechanical component distribution. You will provide day‑to‑day support across the trade counter and branch, ensuring customer requests are fulfilled and satisfaction remains high.
Salary: Up to £27,000 per annum + callout bonus.
Location: Northampton.
Role type: Permanent / Full Time / Mon-Fri / 8–5 / Occasional call out (1 in 4 weeks).

Responsibilities
You’ll deal with incoming queries from customers over the phone and via email, take orders, fill in picking slips, and coordinate with the warehouse to pick, pack and ship deliveries. The role also includes face‑to‑face customer service at the trade counter, retrieving small batch or individual items from the warehouse and ensuring the counter is stocked and presentable.
Occasionally you will drive and deliver specific parts to customers; a full valid UK driving licence is required. You will also be asked to be available over the weekend and bank holidays if a call‑out falls on those days.
Qualifications
Experience working on a trade counter.
Full valid UK driving licence.
Availability for occasional weekend and bank holiday call‑outs.
