Job Title: Groundworker - HS2 Project

Company Overview:
We are currently looking for experienced Groundworkers to join our growing team on the HS2 high-speed rail project in the Banbury area. This is a long-term opportunity to work on one of the UK's most important infrastructure developments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out a range of groundwork duties including drainage, kerbing, slabbing, concreting, and ducting.
* Trenching and reinstatement works.
* Working safely around live services and in accordance with site safety protocols.
* Assisting with setting out and reading drawings (where applicable).
* Collaborating with plant operators, supervisors, and other trades on site.
Requirements:
* Valid CSCS card (Blue Skilled Worker card preferred)
* Proven experience in groundwork on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
* Familiarity with groundworks tools, materials, and methods.
* UK Driving Licence required - site is not easily accessible via public transport.
* Good understanding of health and safety procedures on site.
Desirable:
* CPCS/NPORS tickets for dumper/roller or other plant machinery
* Confined spaces or deep excavation certification
* Previous experience working on HS2 or similar large-scale infrastructure projects
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends depending on site needs.
