Job Description
United Infrastructure Telecoms are searching for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join our team as an Acquisition Manager. The successful applicant will work closely with other members of the Acquisition & Planning team for the delivery of new telecom sites, NTQ site replacements or upgrades on existing sites.
Specific Responsibilities:
* Reporting on progress to client/internal key stakeholders
* Management and guidance of Surveyors and Coordinators
* Ownership of end to end Acquisition process including data management
* New site or NTQ replacement search and identification, including production of option Reports
* Reading and identification of rights from existing site legal documentation for proposed site upgrades
* Land ownership checks
* Attendance of MSV surveys or site visits (where required)
* Negotiate and secure Customer approval of consensual HoTs
* Deal with Landlord Agents & other professional representatives
* Obtain other required third-party consents/wayleaves
* Instruction and Management of solicitors through to legal agreement
* Land valuation appraisals
* Completion of Legal Report Form (detailing the negotiations held and offers made) for any Non-Consensual process (under new ECC legislation)
* Provision of support for the Non-Consensual process
* Upkeep of internal accurate site by site records and commentary
* Attendance on Customer site by site review meetings (where required)
* Document submission to client systems including Acquisition HOP requirements

Additional Information
Essential Requirements:
* Experience of working within Telecoms projects
* Experience of new ECC Agreement or Renewal projects and as a minimum, a working understanding of the non-consensual process
* Experience or working understanding of Land Valuations
* A professional working knowledge of the Town and Country Planning System
* Good IT skills, particularly Word and Excel and able to demonstrate past experience of using Customer project management and workflow tools
* Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills
* Be a good problem solver who is proactive and innovative
* Be able to develop and promote a best-in-class knowledge base and service
* Right to work in UK and valid UK Driving Licence
Desirable Requirements:
* Working towards or already a member of RICS
