Title: Retail Assistant Manager
Location: Kingsmead Retail Park, Stafford, ST16 3AD
Type: Full-time, permanent (5 days over 7 rota)
Hours: 9:00am–5:00pm
Salary: £24,750 per annum (£12.69 hour)
Sunday allowance: £500 per annum
Incentives: Quarterly performance incentives available up to 30% of salary

What you'll do
* Co-lead the store day-to-day: open/close, delegate tasks, keep standards high.
* Coach & support colleagues to deliver brilliant customer experiences.
* Serve customers with care: advice, demos, and solutions—from walking sticks to powerchairs and stairlifts.
* Own merchandising & stock flow: replenishment and tidy, well-presented displays.
* Handle deliveries (some heavy items) and keep back-of-house running smoothly.
* Keep admin tidy: enquiries, paperwork, and simple systems tasks.
What you'll bring
* A track record of great customer service (supervisory/assistant-manager experience a plus).
* Clear, confident communication and a supportive team spirit.
* Strong organisation and calm problem-solving.
* A proactive, adaptable approach across a 7-day rota.
* Full UK driving licence (essential).
A DBS check is required—we cover the cost.
