Learning Support Assistant : Liverpool

Overview of the Role: Youll be a key part of the classroom, working alongside teachers to support students with diverse learning needs. Your role is crucial in creating a positive and inclusive environment where every student feels valued and can thrive. We have a variety of long:term and day:to:day roles available.
Postcodes covered: L1, L2 x2026;L40 (covers both North and South Liverpool)
Pay: GBP150 to GBP220 per day, based on experience.

Duties:
* Providing in:class support by working directly with students, either one:on:one or in small groups.
* Assisting with learning materials, such as adapting worksheets or creating visual aids to meet student needs.
* Supporting student well:being by acting as a mentor, offering emotional support, and building confidence.
* Helping to manage student behaviour and maintain a positive classroom environment.
* Communicating and reporting on student progress to teachers, the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), and other staff.
* Supervising students during break times, lunch, or on school trips.
* Implementing a students individual support plan, such as an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), to ensure they receive the specific support they need.
Skills and Qualifications:
* A passion for supporting young people.
* Previous experience in a school or care setting is desirable, but not essential.
* A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or a willingness for one).
* Eligibility to Work in the UK (ETW).
