A new exciting opportunity for an experienced electronic engineer to define and develop technical solutions for high quality, precision product ranges. As part of the electronic engineering function, you will define future strategy and roadmaps for all electronic products and solutions based on R&D activities.
The Opportunity:
* Define electronic and electrical architecture of equipment
* Analyse and decompose to lower level requirements of sub-elements
* Manage all technical elements of electronic equipment
* Work alongside the engineering project manager to ensure delivery of the technical solution is ‘on time, on cost, on quality’
* Regularly interact with stakeholders and customers, utilising communication and influencing skills
Requirements:
* Educated to degree level with an electronic bias
* Substantial experience in some of the following areas:
* Digital electronics and microprocessor systems
* Power electronics for distributed power networks
* Design of equipment for safety critical environments
* Design of equipment for handling of sensitive customer data
* Understanding of software and firmware development techniques
* Compact packaging and thermal management techniques for complex high performance electronic equipment.
* Knowledge of internal computing design would be advantageous
