Overview
We are seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Volunteer Directors to join our team This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute positively to our community while gaining valuable experience in various fields. You will play a crucial part in supporting our initiatives, while helping to enhance our outreach and impact. Ideal candidates will possess a range of skills, including leadership and project management, and will be eager to learn and grow within a collaborative environment. Whilst this is a voluntary role, your mileage and expenses will be covered by us where necessary, and there will be opportunities for paid roles in the future.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the planning and execution of community projects and events
* Provide supervision and guidance to other volunteers or participants
* Engage in fundraising activities to support organisational goals
* Manage social media accounts to promote events and initiatives
* Collaborate with team members on marketing strategies to increase awareness
* Support our initiatives through educational outreach and teaching sessions
* Perform administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
We are keen for individuals with experience in social media, finance, project management and other areas to join our team, however we are open to applications from individuals from all walks of life.
* Previous supervising experience is advantageous
* Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks would be great
* Experience in marketing or social media management is beneficial
* Background in fundraising activities is a plus
* Administrative experience will be considered an asset
* Teaching experience or the ability to present information effectively is preferred
