Community & Enterprise Resources are seeking skilled road operatives. You will have experience in a variety of road maintenance and construction tasks e.g. surfacing, patching, drain laying, resetting ironwork, kerb laying, slab and block paving and be given the opportunity to be trained to SVQ level 2 in highway maintenance.
All successful candidates will be required to participate in an all year round standby rota for which payment of overtime and stand by will be made.
A current full Driving Licence would be advantageous, in particular applications received from holders of HGV licence will be welcomed with salary being dependant on experience and qualifications.
Salary: £25,715 - £30,384
Location: Carnwath / East Kilbride / Larkhall
Hours: 37 hours per week
Work Pattern: Week 1: Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.15pm, Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm. Week 2: Monday - Thursday 8.00am - 4.15pm, Friday 8.00am - 1.00pm.
