Overview
An exciting opportunity for a qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) with experience in emergency surgery to join the Surgical Assessment Unit (SAU) at Warwick Hospital. The post involves clinical leadership, supervising trainee ACPs and supporting the wider MDT, with a focus on service development, transforming and modernising pathways of care to optimise SAU for Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) and planned reviews while maintaining safety and quality of care. The post-holder will contribute to clinical governance, audit, research, training and education within the Emergency Surgical Team.
The role requires a strong background in procedural skills (desirable) and opportunities to develop new skills relevant to SAU pathways and, where required, inpatient care. The post suits a dynamic individual committed to optimising patient care.
