We are looking for a team player with a passion for excellent freshly prepared food. Capable of performing in all aspects of a working kitchen.
We offer a rota system which allows for 1 full weekend off in 4
minimum 30 hours per week and no split shifts.
Summary
As a Chef/Cook, you will be essential in delivering high-quality culinary experiences while ensuring food safety and maintaining kitchen standards. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will utilize your core skills in food preparation and cooking, alongside your culinary and hospitality experience, to create delicious meals. With a focus on excellence, you will contribute to a vibrant dining atmosphere and uphold the restaurant's reputation for outstanding service. Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
* Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.
* Supervise kitchen staff and assist in training new team members.
* Manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely and efficient service.
* Lead kitchen operations during busy service periods to maintain quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
* Strong culinary skills with a focus on food safety and hospitality.
* Leadership abilities and experience in supervising kitchen staff.
* Background in food production and team management.
* Relevant experience in restaurant settings and serving.
