Working as the IT Assistant / Junior IT Technician you will be the first point of contact for staff and students over the counter and on the phone, providing essential First Line IT Support and managing the equipment booking ticket system. This is a basic First Line IT Support Assistant position where you will perform basic tasks such as changing passwords and logging tickets. More complicated jobs coming into the Genius Bar will be passed to the IT Technicians via the Helpdesk. As the IT Assistant / Junior IT Technician you will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment that utilises both Windows and Mac operating systems, supports personal devices, and maintains its own comprehensive IT infrastructure.
