About Our School

As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in enhancing the learning experiences of our youngest pupils, who have a diverse range of special educational and learning needs. You will support our dedicated teaching staff in helping these pupils gain independence and fully engage in the curriculum and school life. This role will be based at Kirby Moor School.
Your Role Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum, addressing the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
* Report on pupils' progress and concerns, collaborating with other school staff to ensure all needs are met.
* Supervise pupils during non-classroom times, including extracurricular activities and school trips.
* Build positive relationships with your pupils, fostering interaction and positive learning outcomes in a nurturing environment.
Requirements
* Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).
* Possess a strong educational background to degree level.
* Have previous successful teaching experience.
* Experience working with pupils with SEMH in an educational setting.
* Knowledge of behavior management techniques.
* Commitment to professional development and a willingness to learn.

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Check, the cost of which will be covered by Kirby Moor School.
