The post holder will be responsible for delivering a variety of booking schedules for a centralised service, working collaboratively with all divisions to ensure all national targets and departmental KPIs are met.

Main duties of the job
* Operationally lead the department's systems: recruitment, selection, staffing, and administration of the admin team.
* Manage staff daily to ensure effective administration and service delivery, including systems and equipment management.
* Use initiative to ensure patient bookings align with local and national access targets.
* Support the Elective Access Manager in providing a professional, efficient, and effective centralised booking service for outpatient and inpatient schedules, maintaining KPIs.
* Review booking utilisation daily across divisions, ensuring compliance with trust standards, and escalate capacity issues as needed.
* Maintain and update reports within the department.
* Undertake IPDR and 1:1 sessions within the Access Team.
