Fram is working with a directly authorised financial planning firm based in North Yorkshire that has built a strong reputation for the quality of its advice and the depth of its technical work. The business is looking to engage with an experienced Paraplanner to support its advisory team and strengthen its in-house technical capability as the firm continues to grow. The role involves working closely with advisers across a broad range of financial planning activity, including pensions, investments, inheritance tax planning, and cashflow modelling. The Paraplanner plays an important part in preparing technical analysis, suitability reports, and supporting documentation, allowing advisers to focus on client relationships and advice delivery. The environment is collaborative and well structured, with a clear appreciation of the value paraplanning brings to the business. This may appeal to someone who enjoys being closely involved in the advice process and prefers working as part of a stable, professional team. Hybrid working is in place, and the firm takes a long-term view on development and progression, supporting individuals who want to deepen their technical expertise over time. Candidates should hold the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent. Prior paraplanning experience within an IFA environment would be beneficial, along with familiarity with Intelligent Office and cashflow modelling. Experience across pensions and investments is important, while exposure to areas such as VCTs or EIS would be helpful but not essential. Attention to detail, a collaborative approach, and a consistent work history will be valued. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
