Job Description
We are seeking a Lead Project Consultant to join our planning and environmental consultancy in Irvine, Ayrshire, on a hybrid working basis. Role Overview: Responsible for managing, facilitating, and completing EIA and planning applications requiring a multi-disciplinary approach. You will focus on client management and project delivery, coordinating planning applications and environmental assessments in collaboration with our Planning and Specialist Consultants.
This position suits a highly collaborative individual with initiative, attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant software. You will prepare and coordinate planning applications and EIAs for various developments, including renewable energy, industrial, and agricultural projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple projects at different stages, involving site visits, office work, and engagement with authorities, clients, and subcontractors.
* Support project progression to deadlines through teamwork and client management.
* Prepare fee proposals and manage client relationships.
Candidate Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in Planning or Environmental Consultancy.
* Relevant Degree/Master's qualification.
* Ability to produce high-quality, accurate reports.
* Experience with Environmental Impact Assessment processes.
* Experience in fee proposal/quotation preparation.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Attention to detail, especially in reviewing and editing documents.
* Valid driving license and access to own vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Member of RTPI or IEMA.
* Experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
