Your activities * Oversee pressure and temperature calibration services, including accredited calibrations, by recruiting, training, and managing service teams to ensure they have the skills and resources to meet customer requirements. * To manage, calibrate and keep records for the company’s internal production pressure and mass standards to a level appropriate to their application. * Write procedures and uncertainty budgets for calibration work. * To oversee the day-to-day operations of the service department, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and effectively. * Evaluating results including making decisions on repeating calibrations, accepting results, checking and signing certificates of calibration (Approved Signatory status). * To provide day-to-day technical support to the UK external sales efforts as well as the WIKA worldwide subsidiary companies. * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. * Support sales with quotations and contract review. * Communicate with various stakeholders, including customers, team members, and senior management, providing updates on performance and identifying areas for improvement. * Be proactive and actively contribute to strategic decisions such as budget planning for your department, investments and production improvements ensuring resources are used effectively. * Update any work instructions relevant to your department in accordance with WIKA guidelines. * Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. * Carry out Cover activities in other departments to ensure Company outputs are achieved, along with other duties deemed necessary as defined by business needs or your manager. * Ensure the service department operates within legal and company guidelines, including data protection and safety regulations. * Managing special projects as and when required.
