Trainee Junior Project Manager Placement Programme
Our training course provides an entry-level pathway for aspiring Project Managers, covering essential qualifications and placement support.
Programme outline – four stages:
Step 1 – APM (Association for Project Management) Qualification
Complete the APM Project Fundamentals Qualification (PFQ). It takes approximately 20 hours and involves a 1‑hour multiple‑choice exam. Online delivery includes revision tools and a 1‑hour revision workshop.
Step 2 – PRINCE2 Foundation
* PRINCE2 is the most recognised project management methodology.
* Process‑driven, often called a waterfall methodology.
* Study time is approximately 15‑20 hours, delivered online with revision tools and a 1‑hour rehearsal workshop.
Step 3 – Project Management Simulation
* Simulated project assignment to apply knowledge.
* Based on real‑world scenarios.
* Tutor grades work and issues completion certificate.
Step 4 – Recruitment Support
* After qualification, recruitment support works to secure an entry‑level Project Manager role.
* Provides assistance with applications, CV review, interview preparation, and role guidance.
Target group and flexibility
Designed for individuals with limited or no project‑management experience. The programme can be completed while working full‑time, part‑time, or while unemployed.
