The Role
As an Accounts Senior, you will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, working across accounts preparation, client management, and supporting junior staff. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality service while building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients including SMEs and owner-managed businesses
* Producing management accounts and financial reports
* Reviewing work completed by junior team members
* Assisting clients with bookkeeping queries and providing day-to-day financial advice
* Supporting with VAT returns and liaising with HMRC where required
* Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
About You
* ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or equivalent)
* Proven experience within a UK accountancy practice
* Strong technical knowledge of accounts preparation and financial reporting
* Confident communicator with good client-facing skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
