About the Successful Applicant Solid HR generalist experience within primary, secondary, or multi-academy trust environments, with the ability to manage complex employee relations. CIPD qualification (or working towards it), strong interpersonal skills, collaborative mindset, full driving licence, and access to a vehicle for school visits are required.
About the Job This role supports a group of schools with all aspects of HR. You will work closely with school leaders and managers, providing expert advice and contributing to Trust-wide initiatives. Regular travel to schools and participation in HR projects are involved. Reporting to the Head of HR Business Partnering.
Key Duties
Leading recruitment strategy and engagement activities across the Trust, including recruitment fairs and sponsorship processes
Advising on employee relations issues such as disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters
Coaching leaders on HR policies and employment law compliance
Supporting schools with absence and wellbeing management
Assisting with payroll coordination and resolving pay issues
Partnering on restructures, consultations, and staffing reviews
Enhancing HR systems and processes
Facilitating staff training and development
Ensuring safe recruitment practices and compliance oversight
