The home, although purpose-built, has been made very homely, and has a selection of garden areas, in line with Jasmine's values and ethos. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents. Competencies for Care Home Administrator: Ability to follow and embed processes Excellent communication skills, written and verbal IT Literate Flexible approach to tasks and teamwork Goal orientated to achieve SMART objectives Self-motivated Organisation and Administration skills Day to Day Responsibilities for Care Home Administrator: Onboarding & Induction Coordinate and deliver engaging induction experiences tailored to each role and service. Ensure compliance, training, and documentation requirements are completed efficiently. Act as the main point of contact for new starters throughout their first 90 days Culture & Engagement Be a visible and approachable presence within homes and the Support Hub to build relationships with team members. Promote and embed organisational values into everyday practice. Gather and act on feedback from new starters to improve the onboarding journey Absence Management Assist manager with absence management processes, including return-to-work conversations and tracking absence data. Provide supportive check-ins with team members where appropriate, helping to balance wellbeing with attendance expectations. Escalate concerns where patterns or risks are identified. Retention & Development Carry out regular check-ins with team members during their first year to support engagement and performance. Highlight early signs of disengagement and work with managers to resolve issues. Support the delivery of people initiatives to improve retention and wellbeing. One to Ones Ensure one to one are held regularly, clearly documented and retained People/Administrative Support Provide adhoc administrative support to the homes as required Essential Requirements for Care Home Administrator: 2 years' experience in an administrative role Confident in supporting sensitive conversations, including absence and wellbeing Live within 20 minutes of the care home Preferred Requirements for Care Home Administrator: 2 years' administration experience in any kind of care home Some experience of HR processes including inductions, onboarding and absence management A little about Jasmine: By prioritising our people, our mission is to provide the highest standards of care to as many elderly residents as possible.
