The Role:
As a Graduate English Teaching Assistant, you'll support students in Key Stage 3 and 4 (Years 7-10) during English lessons. You'll work closely with classroom teachers and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to help students improve their reading, writing, and overall literacy skills.
This hands-on classroom experience is ideal for those looking to apply for teacher training in the future.
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting pupils during English lessons, particularly those who need additional help
Working one-to-one or in small groups with students
Assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging lesson activities
Helping students with special educational needs (SEN)
Developing your classroom confidence and understanding of the curriculum

A recent graduate (ideally English or a related subject, but all degrees considered)
A strong communicator with excellent written and spoken English
