JOB TITLE: Trainee Warehouse Technician ABOUT THE ROLE A BRIEF SUMMARY Gravity Media RF Services are looking for a Trainee Warehouse Technician to join our Dartford-based team, supporting the preparation, management, and maintenance of equipment for use across some of the world’s biggest television broadcast events. This role sits within a team responsible for the logistical and technical coordination of equipment used in live TV production. The successful applicant will also on occasion work closely with the Projects department, supporting larger, more complex jobs. WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR This position offers hands-on experience in RF equipment management for live television broadcast. Working from our Dartford base, the role focuses on the preparation and return of equipment, stock control, basic testing and repairs, and assisting with warehouse organisation. Trainees will also on occasion help support the Projects Equipment Manager on long-term, high-profile assignments, with opportunities to gain deeper insight into the broadcast industry, learn technical workflows, and grow within the business. Key responsibilities: · Prepare and organise itemised equipment lists for live events · Check in and inspect equipment returning from events · Deliver and collect equipment to and from suppliers or event locations · Assist with testing of cables and devices, including PAT testing · Help with basic maintenance and repairs · Source equipment and parts from suppliers · Support stock control through checks and inventory management · Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and workflow · Support equipment prep for larger project-based events All employees are expected to contribute and participate in work activities in line with our management system to ensure the continual improvement of our business.
