We are looking for an experienced UK Road Freight Forwarder to join our clients growing freight forwarding division within a wider distribution business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong market knowledge who wants to play a key role in shaping and developing a small but ambitious team.
The Role:
1. Arrange and manage UK full loads with a strong focus on backload rates
2. Provide on-the-spot quotes and handle occasional UK tenders
3. Build and maintain excellent relationships with hauliers and customers
4. Make use of platforms such as Haulage Exchange to secure competitive rates
5. Ensure competitive pricing through strong knowledge of UK market rates
