Salary up to £35,000 depending on experience plus a relocation allowance up to £1,000

Look no further, Apollo Vets are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Head Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated local team who would be covering our three sites on a rota basis. We are looking for someone to help oversee the team and always looking to improve clinical standards, you will look for ongoing CPD options for yourself and the team, set up protocols and standard operating procedures and always keeping up to date with best practice and new ideas and opportunities.
You will need to be a Registered Veterinary Nurse and ideally have prior experience in this role, but not essential as full training and support will be given to the right candidate wishing to push their career to new heights. We will consider part time, although we would ideally need the candidate to be in practice a minimum of 4 days a week.
Your main place of work will be at our main site in Black Notley, but you will be expected to work at our Dunmow and Maldon sites occasionally. We have a range of equipment across our three sites including Dental radiography, ultrasound, radiography, ventilator, multiparameter and much more.

Our clinical team is led by two dedicated veterinary surgeons, one of whom is currently working toward a certificate in dermatology. You will be joining a fabulous team of 5 experienced, dedicated nurses and a strong support team of SVNs, VCA and receptionists as well as a Practice Director who is an RVN too.
