Quantitative Cricket/Tennis Analyst – Sports betting – London
Job Summary
Quantitative Cricket/Tennis Analyst is required for one of the leading providers of sports betting brokerage software in the world with offices in London. The successful candidate will be joining the team who is responsible for developing and managing a range of proprietary models and algorithms that run at the heart of the bet-placement platform. You will be part of a small team, working in a relaxed environment and the purpose of the role is to develop and conduct statistical analysis of predictive models for a sports prediction pipeline.
The successful candidate will need to have strong experience in Cricket - ideally someone with demonstrable experience in writing profitable cricket strategies.
As Quantitative Cricket/Tennis Analyst you will need:
* 2+ years experience using advanced statistics and modelling techniques – writing profitable cricket strategies
* Strong programming skills, with a preference for Python and R
* Statistics graduate/post-graduate
* Kaggle profile (or other practical statistical experience
* Experience working with cloud computing (desirable).
