Wheel and Tyre Standards Engineer - 36091001- £27.21/hr umbrella rate

What You Will Do
* Develop comprehensive requirements and test procedures for wheels, tyres, valves, assemblies, and monitoring systems.
* Conduct design failure mode analysis (DFMEAs) to ensure robust and reliable components.
* Create and refine tools to support wheel and tyre engineers in their daily tasks.
* Analyse data and produce detailed reports to inform decision-making and improvements.
* Drive process improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements through innovative virtual or simulation techniques.
* Collaborate with various departments, including manufacturing, design, marketing, and research, to deliver exceptional results.
What You Will Bring
* A self-motivated attitude and the ability to work effectively with broad guidance.
* Proven experience in authoring technical documents with precision and clarity.
* Basic project management skills to ensure timely delivery of tasks and objectives.
* A customer-focused approach, working constructively with colleagues and stakeholders.
* Knowledge of wheels, tyres, or related systems such as puncture management or tyre pressure monitoring systems is highly desirable.
