This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Health & Social Care trainer to join our friendly team. You will play a vital role in equipping staff with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to deliver outstanding, CQC-compliant care and support. Key responsibilities include:
 * Design, develop, and deliver engaging health and social care training programmes, including:
 o Mandatory training (safeguarding, moving & handling, first aid, medication, infection control)
 o Care Certificate induction for new starters
 o Specialist training such as dementia awareness, mental health awareness, substance misuse, and person-centred care
 * Create bespoke training content aligned with legislation, CQC requirements, and best practice in adult social care
 * Facilitate induction programmes and support colleagues in achieving the Care Certificate
 * Evaluate the effectiveness of training (face-to-face and e-learning) to continuously improve delivery
 * Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance reporting is up to date
 * Promote a positive learning environment that supports staff retention and professional development
 * Explore and utilise external funding streams to enhance training provision
Ideal Candidate:
 * Recognised training qualification (AET / PTLLS / CTLLS or equivalent)
 * Proven experience as a Health and Social Care Trainer / Social Care Trainer / L&D Trainer within the adult social care sector
 * Strong knowledge of CQC standards, Care Certificate delivery, and mandatory training requirements
 * Passionate about supporting learners and embedding a strong training culture
 * Excellent communication, presentation, and organisational skills
