The vacancy
Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm
As Housing Manager, you will manage the day‑to‑day delivery of housing management services within a designated Extra Care scheme. You will oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all properties, ensuring a high standard of living, safety and regulatory compliance. You will schedule repairs, manage contractor relationships and promote high standards and value for money. You will provide customer service, ensuring residents feel heard and supported, welcoming new residents and encouraging engagement with activities and events.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Proven housing management experience
* Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH regulations
* Experience with managing and scheduling property maintenance
* Excellent organisational skills, including tenancy management
* Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4, or willingness to work towards it if not held
