Location- Meriden CV7Hours of work- Part Time 3 days per week, Maternity cover 1-year fixed contractStart Date- September 2024We are working on behalf of our excellent partner school in Rural Coventry (CV7) who are looking for a SENCO to provide cover for the rest of the calendar year. The school supports students aged 11 to 17 who have high levels of anxiety.Are you a qualified SENCO looking for a new, dynamic working environment and a challenging new role? If so, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.The ideal SENCO for this position will have experience of supporting large numbers of pupils with Special Educational Needs and implementing strategies across a whole school or organisation. The successful SENCO will have responsibility for leading and managing the SEND and Inclusion departments across the school, and will therefore need the ability to lead a team and inspire them, along with the learners in their care.Familiarity with the SEN Code of Practice will be vital in kickstarting this new role and making the most of the opportunity to have a demonstrable impact on the whole school, including a range of students with specific needs.
