Job Description
Profectus Recruitment is partnering with a well-established professional services firm to recruit a 1st / 2nd Line Engineer. This newly created role will provide IT support across multiple offices, assisting around 100+ users and supporting wider technology projects.
The role will initially be based in High Wycombe, with regular travel to other offices. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support for users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues
* Assist the IT service desk and escalate issues where required
* Support system implementations, onboarding, office moves, and user training
* Help develop reporting, including Power BI dashboards, and support adoption of new technologies
* Contribute to knowledge management, internal resources, and documentation
* Assist with technology improvement initiatives, cyber security awareness, and AI adoption
About You
* Previous experience in IT support or service desk roles
* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
* Confident communicator able to support non-technical users
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
* Interest in technology improvement, reporting, or automation a plus
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
