Position description / Job description
* Provide individual and group support to students aged 8-16 (Years 4-11) with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
* Create a nurturing and supportive environment for boys with SEMH needs.
* Assist teachers with classroom management and behaviour support.
* Implement strategies to help students manage their emotions and behaviours.
* Build rapport with young people, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding.
* Collaborate effectively within a team of professionals.
* Contribute to the development of individualised education plans.
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
Requirements

We're looking for you, if:

* Minimum 6 months' experience working with students with SEMH needs.
* Relevant experience preferred; a related qualification (e.g., in education or youth work) would be advantageous.
* Proven ability to build rapport with young people; patience, empathy, and understanding; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience implementing behaviour management strategies.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Commitment to supporting students' social, emotional, and mental health development.
