Choice Support are recruiting in Herne Bay. Join our team and support 2 adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
We are currently looking to grow our already establish and dedicated team of support workers at Choice Support. We provide specialist support and care to people who have a wide range of support needs from learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex mental health needs.
You will be helping to make a real difference to people's lives by supporting with everyday tasks to promote independence. This will include providing support with cooking, cleaning and shopping. Assisting to health appointments and support with personal care. You will also venture into the community to attend social activities such as going for a walk, swimming or going to the zoo, arts and crafts clubs, swimming and holidays.
You do not need to be a driver, and on the job training is provided, although some experience would be desirable. You need to have good clear communication skills due to supporting individuals who are hard of hearing.
1 part time position available. Shifts are usually between: 9.30am-10pm, 7am -1pm, 1pm-10pm and 10am-6pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays only.
There is a bus stop close by and underground parking for cars.
