KPMG Curve: Lead Cloud Engineer - Azure
Base Location: Leeds based (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)

Due to the nature of our work, applicants must hold or be capable of obtaining UK National Security Vetting, which may require residency in the UK for at least 5 years and UK or dual UK nationality. Applications from those not meeting these criteria will not be considered.

What will you be doing?
* Automate processes and promote a culture of automation
* Mentor and advocate for agile principles within the engineering team
* Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical tickets
* Take technical responsibility for solutions
* Focus on quality and key metrics like DORA to drive improvements
* Conduct detailed code reviews
What will you need?
* UK National Security Vetting or the ability to obtain it
* Extensive experience in designing and building infrastructure with a DevOps mindset in Azure
* Experience with distributed systems and secure cloud infrastructure at scale
* Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
* Stakeholder management and effective communication skills
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
* Experience with CI/CD tools (Github Actions, CircleCI)
Desired skills and extras:
* Experience with AWS or GCP
* Knowledge of infrastructure testing and automation in pipelines
* Understanding of databases and models
* Contribution to open-source projects
* Knowledge of test automation frameworks
