About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to lead and oversee electrical works across a range of projects in Stevenage and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians, ensuring that all electrical installations, maintenance, and repair activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate day-to‑day activities of electrical teams and subcontractors.
* Plan, allocate, and monitor workloads to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
* Ensure compliance with current electrical regulations (BS 7671) and company health & safety policies.
* Conduct regular site inspections and testing to verify the quality and safety of installations.
* Provide technical support, guidance, and training to team members.
* Liaise with clients, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and test certificates.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency across the electrical department.
Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) qualification.
* ECS Gold Card (Supervisor or Approved Electrician level).
* Inspection & Testing (2391 or equivalent) desirable.
* Proven experience in a supervisory or lead electrician role.
* Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
