Key Responsibilities Deliver engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons in line with the national curriculum Teach across KS3 and KS4 (specialism in History, Geography, or RE welcomed; KS5 desirable) Plan, prepare, and assess pupils' work effectively Encourage critical thinking, debate, and independent learning Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential Contribute to departmental planning and wider school activities Essential Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK A degree in Humanities or a related subject (e.g. History, Geography, Religious Studies) Proven experience teaching Humanities at secondary level Strong subject knowledge across one or more Humanities disciplines Excellent classroom management skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing Desirable Skills & Experience Experience teaching GCSE Humanities subjects with strong outcomes KS5 (A-Level) teaching experience Ability to teach across multiple Humanities subjects Familiarity with exam boards such as AQA, Edexcel, OCR Track record of supporting student progress and attainment Why Apply?
