Role: Peripatetic Care Home Manager
Travel is required for this role.
Orchard Care Homes is expanding its operational support team and is seeking a Peripatetic Care Home Manager for the Yorkshire Region.
As a Peripatetic Care Home Manager, you will support Care Home Managers to enhance care quality and compliance across the region, and manage a specific care home in the absence of a Home Manager if needed. Your responsibilities include overseeing residents’ care, building relationships with stakeholders, identifying business opportunities, and managing budgets. You will lead and support care home teams, striving to improve quality of life and wellbeing for residents.
Role Requirements:
* At least 2 years’ experience as a Care Home Manager within a dementia setting
* Adult Social Care qualification of Level 5 or above (Level 4 Registered Managers Award considered if willing to complete Level 5)
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards with a record of achieving Good/Outstanding ratings
* Passion for delivering high standards of person-centered care
* Marketing and business development skills in the private care sector
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Willingness and ability to travel to Tyne and Wear, Durham, West Yorkshire, and South Yorkshire
