Technology / Maintenance Engineers Highways Location:M25 & Home Counties Salary: £35,000 £40,000 - Nights and Days, with Generous Overtime rate - OTE £55-60KAbout the OpportunityWe are recruiting on behalf of a leading provider working on a major highways contract covering the M25 and surrounding network. Due to continued workload and growth, there is a requirement for an engineer to support ongoing maintenance and fault response activities.This role involves working within a small, supportive team across both day and night shifts. Given the specialist nature of the systems involved, full on-the-job training will be provided, along with additional certifications such as manual handling, first aid, and MEWP training. All duties will be carried out across the strategic road network.Key Duties -Technology / Maintenance Engineers Highways
* Carry out installation and commissioning of highway technology systems
* Conduct scheduled maintenance and inspection activities
* Respond to faults, including diagnostics and repair
* Maintain compliance with health & safety, quality, environmental, and training standards
Candidate Profile-Technology / Maintenance Engineers HighwaysSuitable applicants will demonstrate:
* Ability to work independently and use initiative effectively
* Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
* Good organisational and time management abilities
* A full, clean UK driving licence
* Competence in Microsoft Office applications
* Previous experience within the highways or infrastructure sector
* Electrical qualifications such as NVQ in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
