Requirements
Must have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar 1st line role or MSP environment. - Strong knowledge of Windows 11, Windows Server (2012–2025), and Active Directory. - Experience supporting Microsoft 365, Azure. - Experience using remote desktop environments and remote desktop support tools (TeamViewer, Screen Connect). - Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Eligibility to work in the UK. - Full UK Driving Licence (desirable). - IT-related qualifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.) (desirable).
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st line support via phone, email, and remote tools. - Log, triage, and manage support tickets through to resolution or escalation. - Provide remote support for hardware, software, and printer issues. - Assist with network connectivity issues involving LAN, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless configurations. - Support desktop support tasks such as installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware and software. - Perform daily system checks, including backup monitoring and reporting. - Support clients across a range of technologies including Microsoft 365, Windows Server, and networking equipment. - Occasionally travel to customer sites when required (own car desirable). - Provide exceptional customer service and maintain clear communication throughout ticket lifecycles.
