Housekeeping Assistant – Immediate Start

Location: Worthing Hospital, Lyndhurst Rd, Worthing BN11 2DH
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
Contract: Full-time, Temporary
Start Date: Immediate
Axis Recruitment are currently looking for experienced Housekeeping Assistants to join a busy healthcare environment at Worthing Hospital.
This is a great opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals seeking consistent full-time hours within a professional NHS setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising wards, patient areas, and communal spaces
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection control
- Safe use and handling of cleaning products in line with COSHH regulations
- Disposal of waste in accordance with hospital procedures
- Working as part of a dedicated facilities team to ensure a safe environment
Requirements
- Minimum 3 months domestic/cleaning experience in the UK
- Good understanding of COSHH and health & safety procedures
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliability and professionalism at all times
