Job Description
Would you like to drive value creation initiatives through the largest healthcare technology informatics company in the world? Do you have the business savvy, customer-centric insight, and relationship development skills to align with strategic partnerships and help further establish Philips as a market leader in healthcare technology?
We are expanding our business development efforts to build crucial partnerships, thriving ecosystems, and core portfolio capabilities to create sustainable impact and long-term customer value. We are looking for a leader to join our team to scale our efforts globally. The team consists of strategy development and business development experts who work across Philips businesses to translate strategy into execution and bring in key partnerships to tailor and extend our value chain for mutual business growth.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong business background enabling engagement at the CxO level, along with sufficient domain knowledge to interact effectively with technical and clinical experts. As a leader, you will create and deliver plans to drive business and partnership development aligned with business strategy. Success requires strategic and analytical thinking about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to deliver impact. You should be capable of executing amidst ambiguity, influencing both externally and internally, and doing so with professionalism.
Your role:
* Identify and engage prioritized external organizations based on strategic goals to collaborate on technical and commercial challenges, develop partnerships, and deliver long-term value to customers.
* Discover, capture, and report patterns and insights from customers and partners to inform strategy and execution.
* Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers within partner organizations to accelerate sustainable growth for Philips, aligning assets to optimize the value chain, and jointly producing thought leadership and commercial impact reflected in financial outcomes.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the core informatics businesses to identify opportunities for M&A, conduct due diligence, and support post-merger integration to better serve customer needs.
* Contribute to the work of sales, marketing, strategy, and product teams, and help shape the overall informatics business strategy.
You're the right fit if:
* You hold an MBA degree and have a technical background (e.g., computer science).
* You have demonstrated leadership in leveraging strategic partnerships to impact top and bottom lines.
* You can build trust and manage relationships with C-level executives.
* You have a proven track record in executing mergers, acquisitions, and divestments to maximize value, including successful business integrations and carveouts.
* You are familiar with healthcare IT and AI ecosystems, trends, and inorganic growth strategies.
* You understand the software value chain and impact opportunities.
* You have a bias for action, ownership, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while earning trust internally and externally.
* You are confident in speaking engagements at conferences and industry events, or in publishing articles.
