The Role
As Workshop Controller at our Leicester site, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth, efficient operation of the workshop. You’ll coordinate workloads, ensure repair quality, and lead a team of technicians to deliver safe, accurate, and timely repairs every time.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and allocate daily workloads across the workshop team
Monitor team productivity, quality of work, and repair timelines
Liaise with Vehicle Damage Assessors (VDAs), parts, and front-of-house to ensure seamless workflow
Motivate and lead technicians, supporting performance, training, and development
Ensure all work meets safety regulations and industry quality standards
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or Senior Technician
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
High attention to detail and a commitment to repair quality
Sound understanding of accident repair processes and workshop operations
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
