Hays Education is urgently seeking dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistants to join our team in Barnsley. We have immediate placements available and wee applications from candidates currently working with other agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting students with SEMH needs in their educational and personal development.
2. Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive learning environment.
3. Providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
4. Helping with classroom management and administrative tasks.
Requirements:
5. Essential: Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs.
6. Optional: Experience working in healthcare or care work
7. Apassionate and patient approach.
8. Strongmunication and teamwork skills.
9. Relevant qualifications or training in SEMH support (preferred but not essential).
