Team Purpose:
The Managed Network & Security Team is responsible for the management of the network & security devices in Getronics Datacentres, connectivity towards customers and Cloud providers and on premis Network & Security implementations at our Customers.
Role Purpose:
The role is to proactively and reactively manage the Network and Security devices, act on alarms from our network management systems, act on incidents reported by our customers. Troubleshoot & analyse incidents and changes, make suggestions to fix and implement the solution. Test and deploy software upgrades or security patches. Work as a full member of our international team with a size of 35 Engineers. We are looking for an experienced Professional who is autonomous, experienced, self-driven security fanatics.
You should possess excellent communication and team working skills and have confidence working on your own initiative.
What to expect:
12. Manages the design, implementation and ongoing management of Cisco environment, including LAN, WAN, and Wireless Environments. Coordinates with networking vendors to ensure appropriate platform integration and performance. Makes recommendations to Senior management on new technologies and products for enhancement of the network.
13. Leads and participates in the installation of Network systems and equipment for new facilities and expansions. Tests, debugs and analyzes performance, and documents infrastructure components.
14. Develops Network infrastructure installation procedures to ensure successful integration of systems hardware/software. Develops and recommends technical strategies and solutions to maintain and/or expand service levels.
15. Monitors and analyzes network, and provides results on a regular basis. Takes corrective action to improve data network.
16. Responds to emergency situations and can perform effective troubleshooting during production outages.
17. Assist in guiding, training, instructing and assisting others at peer or lower levels on technical issues and products.
18. Act on Network Incidents reported by our network management tools, Customers.
19. Proactively test & upgrade software on various devices
20. Analyse capacity management reports & propose improvements
21. Prepare and execute Change requests
22. Remotely Configure new devices
23. Attend DataCenter for local break and fix as and when required
24. Make technical advisory / designs for customer network migrations
25. Make technical advisory to improve customer security environment.
26. Communicate & raise incidents to 3the party ( vendors / telecom providers )
27. Create and update documentation sets
28. Propose improvement plans ( technical & human activity )
29. Propose improvements for our network management tools / Configuration.
30. Analyse reporting before used by Service Delivery Manager
31. Understand vendor product / solution evolutions
What we expect from you:
32. Minimum 5 years’ experience in Networking Field with Cisco vendor products
33. Hands on experience to work in an ITIL structured organisation dealing with Incident / Change / Problem management
34. Strong working experience both deploying and managing large and complex majorly Cisco (Routing & SDWAN / Catalyst & Nexus Switching / Aironet Wireless / ASA/Firepower Firewall, PRIME, ISE) LAN, WAN, Wireless Environments.
35. Knowledge and skills on handling Meraki Wireless/Firewall/SDWAN, Cisco ACI as well as IT Enterprise Products.
36. Understand to interpret wireless ( WIFI ) site survey reports.
37. Execute / tune wireless ( WIFI ) radio management.
38. Expert with implementing and supporting OSPF, BGP, VRRP and other routing protocols.
39. Experience with Wireshark or other protocol analyzers.
40. Configuring network & security devices with end to end security in mind.
41. Configuring end to end Quality of Service
42. Troubleshoot using traffic analysers, capacity management tools.
43. Incident Report Document writing.
44. Documentation ( MS Word ) & drawing ( MS Visio ) updates

45. Technical certifications ( at least one CCNP or CCIE badge is required )
