Were recruiting HGV Technician
We are recruiting for a HGV Mechanic at our Bristol Site within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business.
The purpose of this role is to Repair and Maintain Our HGV Fleet to comply with legal & Company standards while having the ability to work under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems.
Contract Full Time / Permanent
Location - Bristol Depot (BS11 0YW)
Salary - £19.29 Per Hour plus premiums
Overtime paid at x1.125 basic rate
Saturday paid at x1.125basic rate, Sunday paid at 1.5 basic rate
Additional 14.25%uplift of base rate for unsociable hours worked between 6PM 4AM
Customary/Public Holidays paid at x1.5
Shift pattern - 5 out of 7 - days
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
To Inspect and maintain Our HGV Fleet to comply with legal &Company standards.
Prepare vehicles for MOT Testing and transport to Test Centre.
To record vehicle defects and keep accurate records of work carried out on each vehicle.
Repair Minor Accident Damage .
Carry out Fault Diagnosis.
Requirements
HGV Licence C+E preferable but not essential
Commercial experience on HGVs is essential.
Qualifications required City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
